Özet
Covid-19 krizi ilk olarak Çin'de başlamıştır ve kısa sürede Avrupa Birliği ülkeleri ve ABD gibi dünyanın en güçlü ekonomilerini etkileyerek özellikle uluslararası ticaret alanında olumsuz etkiler yaratmıştır. Dünyada Covid-19 salgınının patlak vermesiyle uluslararası sınırların kapatılmasının ardından ülkelerin dış ticaret faaliyetleri üzerinde etkilerinin yaşanmaya başladığı görülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, küreselleşme sürecinde bir pandemi krizinin etkisiyle Türkiye’nin dış ticareti üzerinde yaşanan değişimlerin değerlendirilmesi ile geleceğe yönelik stratejilerin belirlenmesine katkıda bulunmaktır. Araştırmanın yöntemi, nicel araştırma metodolojisi türlerinden biri olan nedensel modelleme kullanılarak karşılaştırma yapılmasıdır. Bu amaçla dünyadaki dış ticaret faaliyetleri hakkında analizler ve Türkiye ithalat ve ihracatı üzerindeki değişimlerin analizleri karşılaştırılmaktadır. Günümüzde Covid-19 salgınının en olumsuz etkilerinin yaşandığı ülkeler ve bu ülkelerle daha önce ihracat ve ithalat faaliyeti olan Türkiye'de yaşanan değişimler değerlendirilmektedir. Bölgesel farklılıklar görülmekle birlikte genel olarak ihracat ve ithalat faaliyetlerinde düşüş eğilimi yaşandığı izlenmektedir. Sadece tıbbi ürünlerin dış ticaretindeki değişimler farklıdır. Elde edilen bulgular ile geleceğin korunmasına yönelik en doğru stratejilerin planlanmasına ilişkin öneriler açıklanmaktadır.
Covid-19 crisis firstly started in China but in a short time having impacts on the strongest economies of the world like European Union countries and USA, has adverse impacts particularly on international trade field. It is seen that the impacts on the foreign trade activities of the countries have been experienced after the closure of international borders with the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic in the world. The aim of this study is to contribute into the assessment of impacts of pandemic crisis on the foreign trade of Turkey as a result of globalization and identification of future strategies. Method of this study is the comparison using causal modeling one of the types of quantitative research methodology. For this purpose, analyses of changes on Turkey’s exportation and importation and the analysis about the foreign trade activities in the world were compared. Countries where the most adverse impacts of Covid-19 pandemic are currently experienced and changes experienced in Turkey having previous exportation and importation activities with these countries are being consideration. Although regional differences are experienced, a downward trend is generally seen in the exportation and importation activities. However, changes in the Foreign Trade of medicinal products are different. It is announced recommendations pertaining to planning of the most proper strategies for protection of future with the findings obtained.
