dc.description.abstractTeknoloji çağında sanayi devrimi sonrası iş sağlığı ve güvenliği ile alakalı bazı problemler ortaya çıkmıştır. İlk başlarda çok dikkate alınmayan bu problemler, özellikle emek yoğun işlerde çalışanların verimliliklerini etkilediği için önemsenmiştir. Çalışanların psikolojisi ve iş doyumu iş verimini olumlu yönde etkilemektedir. Yüksek iş güvenliğinin yüksek iş doyumuna, yüksek iş doyumunun da yüksek performansa yol açtığı varsayımının kabul edildiğini görmek mümkün. Bunun tam tersi de mümkündür. Yani düşük iş doyumu iş güvenliğinde olumsuz durumlara ve iş kazalarına da yol açabilmektedir. Kereste üretim tesislerinde çalışanların iş doyumu ile iş güvenliği düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin istatistiksel analizi sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre, çalışmanın amacı, iş doyumu ile iş güvenliği arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olup olmadığını ortaya koymaktır. Farklı çalışmalarda iş doyumu ve iş güvenliği arasındaki ilişki araştırmış olup, kereste sektöründeki iş doyumu ve iş güvenliği konusu araştırılmamıştır. Bu çalışma ile literatüre ve sektöre katkı sağlanması planlanmaktadır Bu çalışma İstanbul ili İkitelli Keresteciler Sitesi'nde toplam 150 çalışanı bulunan 5 farklı kereste üretim fabrikasında yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan anket yöntemi kullanılmaktadır. Anket, demografik sorular, iş güvenliği ölçeği ve iş doyumu ölçeği olmak üzere 3 bölümden oluşmaktadır.
dc.description.abstractAfter the industrial revolution, some issues with workplace health and safety have surfaced in the age of technology. These issues, which were first disregarded, were now taken into account in particular since they have an impact on workers' productivity in labor-intensive jobs. Employee psychology and job satisfaction have a favorable impact on work efficiency. The idea that high job security leads to high job happiness and high job satisfaction leads to excellent performance is clearly acknowledged. The inverse is also conceivable. In other words, low job satisfaction can lead to problems with job security and workplace accidents. According to the findings of a statistical analysis of the relationship between job satisfaction and job security levels of employees working in timber production plants, the study's objective is to ascertain whether there is a substantial association between job satisfaction and job security. The relationship between job satisfaction and job security has been studied in various research, however the topic of job satisfaction and job security in the timber industry has not been studied. It is intended that this study will contribute to the literature and the sector. This research was conducted at 5 distinct timber production plants in Istanbul, with a total of 150 people in kitelli Keresteciler Sitesi. In the study, the survey method, which is one of the quantitative research methodologies, is employed. The questionnaire is divided into three sections: demographic questions, a job security scale, and a job satisfaction rating.
