Examination of the usage possibilities of some natural herbaceous species of Sivas (Türkiye) in landscape design

dc.description.abstractIn this study, the natural herbaceous plant species of Sivas, which has a large surface area in the Central Anatolia Region of Turkey, were examined and it was aimed to determine which species can be used in landscape design and for what purposes they can be used. As a result of the field studies carried out in this region, it was determined that the area has a rich flora and 331 species can be used in landscape design. Plants to determine the possible uses of the identified species in landscape designs; it was evaluated according to its location, flower color, flower season, usage area, element and endemism status. According to this evaluation, it was determined that 114 of 331 herbaceous species were endemic, 158 were Iranian-Turanian, 22 were European-Siberian, 15 were Mediterranean and 136 were unknown species. 12 criteria for the use of these plants identified in the field in landscape designs (1: ground floor flowers, 2: stone gardens, 3: water gardens, 4: indoors, 5: city parks, 6: roadsides, 7: natural landscape, 8: as a color combination element, 9: as a ground cover, 10: as plant groups, 11: on slopes, 12: as a climber) and it was determined that there were 98 species with 6 or more of these criteria and 102 species with 5 criteria. As a result, the most species that can be used in landscape designs in the area belong to the Compositae family (61 species), and the species with the highest landscape value are; it has been determined that it is a family of Labiatae, Boraginaceae, Scrophulariaceae and Campanulaceae. In addition, the use of these species in landscape design and applications has been suggested.
dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, Türkiye'nin İç Anadolu Bölgesinde geniş bir yüzölçüme sahip olan Sivas’ın doğal otsu bitki türleri incelenmiş ve bu türlerden peyzaj tasarımında kullanılabilecek olan türlerin neler olduğu ve hangi amaçlarla kullanılabileceğinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu bölgede yapılan arazi çalışmaları sonucunda alanın zengin bir floraya sahip olduğu ve 331 türün peyzaj tasarımında kullanılabileceği belirlenmiştir. Tespit edilen türlerin peyzaj tasarımlarında olası kullanımlarının belirlenmesi için bitkiler; bulunduğu yer, çiçek rengi, çiçek mevsimi, kullanım alanı, element ve endemizm durumuna göre değerlendirilmiştir. Bu değerlendirmeye göre 331 otsu türün 114’ü endemik, 158’i İran-Turan, 22’si Avrupa-Sibirya, 15’i Akdeniz elementi ve 136’sının bilinmeyen tür olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Alanda tespit edilen bu bitkilerin peyzaj tasarımlarında kullanılabilmesi için 12 kriter (1: zemin kat çiçekleri, 2: taş bahçelerde, 3: su bahçelerinde, 4: iç mekanlarda, 5: şehir parklarında, 6: yol kenarlarında, 7: doğal peyzajda, 8: renk birleştirme elemanı olarak, 9: zemin kaplaması olarak, 10: bitki grupları olarak, 11: yokuşlarda, 12: tırmanıcı olarak) ele alınmış ve bu kriterlerden 6 ve üzeri kritere sahip olan 98 tür, 5 kritere sahip 102 türün olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak alanda peyzaj tasarımlarında kullanılabilecek en fazla türün Compositae familyasına ait (61 tür) olduğu, peyzaj değeri en yüksek türlerin ise; Labiatae, Boraginaceae, Scrophulariaceae, Campanulaceae familyası olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca bu türlerin peyzaj tasarım ve uygulamalarında kullanımları önerilmiştir.
