dc.description.abstractIn this study, bibliometric analysis of Istanbul Esenyurt University Faculty of Business and Management Sciences Journal of Social Science Research (ieSBAD), which is an open access, peer-reviewed, electronic journal published twice a year, is carried out. Founded in 2021, the journal aimed to bibliometric examine the articles published in six issues published between June-2021 and December-2023. In this study, first of all, bibliometric analysis was introduced with the descriptive method, then the importance of bibliometric analysis was strengthened by giving examples from the literature, and finally, it was aimed to develop suggestions to increase the performance of the journal depending on the findings obtained. In this context, the articles published in the journal in the specified period were evaluated according to bibliometric criteria. Among the institutions to which the authors of the articles published in the journal belong are Istanbul Esenyurt University, Yeni Yüzyıl University and Istanbul University. In the citations to the articles, there are books or book chapters, journals in the first place, and other publications, including academic theses, internet resources and scientific congress papers. The journal, whose performance has shown an upward trend in a short time, has been tried to determine the most accurate predictions in order to increase the impact factor for the future and to reach the index level targets for which it is scanned.
dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, yılda iki kez yayınlanan ve açık erişimli, hakemli, elektronik bir dergi olan İstanbul Esenyurt Üniversitesi İşletme ve Yönetim Bilimler Fakültesi Sosyal Bilimler Araştırmaları Dergisi (ieSBAD)’nin bibliyometrik analizi yapılmaktadır. 2021 yılında kurulan derginin, Haziran-2021 ve Aralık-2023 yılları arasında yayınlanan altı sayıda basılmış makalelerin bibliyometrik açıdan incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, önce betimleme yöntemi ile bibliyometrik analiz tanıtımı yapılmış, sonra literatürden konu ile ilgili örnekler verilerek bibliyometrik analizin önemi güçlendirilmiş, son olarak elde edilen bulgulara bağlı olarak dergi performansının yükseltilmesine yönelik öneriler geliştirilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Bu çerçevede, belirlenen dönemde dergide yayınlanan makalelerin bibliyometrik kriterlere göre değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Dergide yayınlanan makalelerin yazarlarının mensup olduğu kurumlar arasında başta İstanbul Esenyurt Üniversitesi, Yeni Yüzyıl Üniversitesi ve İstanbul Üniversitesi yer almaktadır. Makalelere yapılan atıflarda, ilk sırada dergiler olmak üzere kitap veya kitap bölümleri ve akademik tezler, internet kaynakları ve bilimsel kongre bildirileri olmak üzere diğer yayınlar bulunmaktadır. Performansı kısa sürede artış trendi gösteren derginin, geleceğe yönelik olarak etki faktörünü yükseltme ve tarandığı endeks düzeyi hedeflerine ulaşmada, en doğru öngörülerin belirlenmesine çalışılmıştır.
