dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between teaching sports in leisure time and the quality of work life in the personnel of selected hospitals in Turkiye. Its statistical population consists of employees of selected hospitals Medical Park Bahcelievler, Acibadem Bakirkoy, Liv Hospitals Ulus Liv Hospital Bahcesehir, Aji Badem International Hospital, of which 360 people were selected as a statistical sample. To collect data for analysis, Sharkley's physical activity questionnaire and Walton's quality of work life questionnaire (1974) were used. The face and content validity of the research tool was approved by sports experts. Also, the reliability of the entire measurement tool was investigated in a preliminary study and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated for the quality of work life variable (0.947) and for the physical activity variable (0.876). All statistical analyzes were performed using SPSS version 24 software. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between teaching sports and physical activity in leisure time and the quality of work life and its components. In general, according to the results of the research, it is suggested to pay serious attention to teaching sports and physical activity, which has been effective on the variables of the quality of work life, in order to have committed and healthy employees.
