    AN EVALUATION ON REMOTE WORKING METHOD IN CONTEXT OF WORK-LIFE BALANCE, PRODUCTIVITY, TRUST AND FLEXIBILITY

    Due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic, the remote working method has become a necessity rather than a choice for businesses and employees. This compelling and sudden change in working life created new conditions. In turn, they have brought the factors affecting employee productivity as a determining factor in the success of businesses to the agenda again. In this context, this study aims to examine the impact of flexible working conditions, the environment of trust and work-life balance variables on employees' productivity with a focus on remote working methods. The cross-sectional survey method is used as a data collection and analysis method in the research. The data obtained from 571 people and collected by convenience sampling were analyzed through the SPSS 20 program. In light of its findings, it has been found that the variables of flexibility, trust environment, and work-life balance were related to the productivity variable and that the flexibility and trust environment variables had a high explanatory power for the productivity variable. Although the work-life balance variable has a negative relationship with productivity, it has been found that its explanatory power is low. The findings are very inspiring for future studies, as they reveal the role played by remote working as a widely used method today on productivity.

    Green Organizational Identity and Green Competitive Advantage

    “Green competitive advantage” is a concept that differentiates a organization’s environmental performance and sustainable practices from its competitors and provides a competitive advantage. An important step towards achieving a green competitive advantage is raising the organization’s awareness of social responsibility beyond the perception of integrating an organization’s environmental goals into its mission and strategies. Interpretive framework for environmental management and preservation that organizational members jointly develop to provide meaning to their green actions is referred to as a “green organizational identity. “ “Green competitive advantage” not only strengthens the company’s sustainability image but also may offer the opportunity to elevate the organization to a leading position in its sector. This review study seeks to raise awareness and offer guidance for researchers who want to work in this area by focusing on the connection between “green organizational identity” and “green competitive advantage,” two concepts that have received little attention in the literature. © 2023, Ebru Bagci.     Sürdürülebilirlik Bağlamında Dijital Miras Kavramı

    Yaşanan teknolojik gelişmelerle birlikte internetin, günlük yaşamın vazgeçilmez bir unsuru olması geride bıraktığımız ayak izlerini giderek dijitalleştirmektedir. Bu bağlamda, öldüğümüzde “Dijital varlıklarımıza ne olacak?” sorusu giderek daha önemli hale gelmektedir. Dijital varlıkların yönetimi ile anlamlılık kazanan bu konu, dijital miras kavramını ortaya çıkarmıştır. Özellikle yerli yazında çok az çalışılmış olan, uluslararası yazında ise hukuki, tarihsel boyutu ile ağırlıklı yer bulmuş olan dijital miras kavramını incelemek alan yazına katkı sunmak açısından önem arz etmektedir. Dijital miras, dijitalleşmenin bir sonucu olarak hayatımıza giren, dijital ortamda somut ve soyut malvarlıklarının (alan adları, sosyal medya hesapları vb.), kişinin ölümünden sonra saklanması, depolanması, varislere devrini de içeren bir kavramdır. Dijital miras konusunun anlaşılır kılınması için, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden ikincil kaynak taraması yapılarak konuya yönelik farkındalık oluşturmak araştırmanın birincil amacıdır. Ayrıca dijital miras kavramını sürdürülebilirlik yönetimi bağlamında ele alarak stratejik yönetime dair birtakım çıkarımlarda bulunmak, bu alanda çalışmak isteyen akademisyenlere de yol gösterici olmak amaçlanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, sürdürülebilir dijital miras konusunun ulusal ve uluslararası alan yazında bu bağlamda ele alınmadığı, dijital mirasa yönelik ulusal yazında oldukça az çalışma olduğu, yapılan çalışmaların odak noktasının yasal düzenlemelere yönelik olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
